Beneyaz Ara Begum

Bio

Scientific Machine Learning & Network Systems Researcher with over 18 years of combined academic experience across advanced multidisciplinary research (9 years) and higher education instruction (9 years). Currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Physics at the University of Central Florida (UCF), specializing in interpretable AI/ML, exoplanetary atmospheric surrogate modeling, fault-tolerant IoT/WSN computing, and environmental time-series analytics. Demonstrated track record as Principal Investigator on a competitive national government grant (DST Women Scientist-A) and recipient of the AICTE-INAE Teachers Research Fellowship. Principal author of 4 high-impact peer-reviewed journal articles (average IF: 4.9) and 17 international/national conference publications, earning two Best Paper Awards, a perfect Ph.D. CGPA of 10/10 from AcSIR, and the 2021-Best Ph.D. Woman Researcher Award in Engineering Sciences from CSIR-IICT. Primary doctoral research is cited as first reference in two granted US/International patents.
