Dr. Nabeel Alzahrani is an adjunct professor of Computer Science and Engineering at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and cybersecurity. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside.

He is the co-founder of the Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, Fusion Energy, and Semiconductors (AQFS) Research and Training Lab at CSUSB and serves as a consultant in Identity, Security, and Enterprise Technology. His work focuses on accessible AI and HPC education, generative AI and large language models, and responsible AI integration in teaching and research.

Dr. Alzahrani is an active contributor to the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR) and the broader cyberinfrastructure community, where he develops open educational resources, leads workshops, mentors students, and supports faculty adoption of AI at scale.
