As a member of Scientific Computing Group at National Institute for Computational Sciences, UTK, I am committed to assisting UTK and NICS scientists in exploiting the full potential of HPC resources available at our institutions. Seven years of experience at this role helped me expand my expertise beyond my initial expectations and led to much broader engagements.
As a consultant of XSEDE project, I had great opportunities to help scientists from around the nation in improving performance of their computational tools. Learning from the scientists while solving their problems is the experience I cherish the most. It allows me to further enrich my skills in AI assisted materials research and beyond. Important skills such as introducing new computational environments, developing training materials and coaching grow as I engage more with the scientists.
In my current role as CIREN facilitator, I am working on several projects with scientists from UTK, to assist them in improving performances of their Artificial Neural Networks and efficient use of HPC resources. Within the CIREN project, I am also looking forward to be part of the ACCESS for years to come and extend my engagement with the country’s scientific community.
